Elliot Hoffman is the co-founder and CEO of Natural Capitalism, Inc, a new business in partnership with Dr. L. Hunter Lovins devoted to working with small and mid-size companies to improve their profits by  fully embracing sustainable business practices, reducing waste and carbon emissions, while building brand equity and stakeholder loyalty.

Mr. Hoffman is a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of New Voice of Business, a nonprofit organization of businesses and business people that mobilizes business to address the core issues of our time: (1) supporting an accelerated transition to clean, renewable energy while addressing climate change; (2) creating a sustainable and prosperous economy; and (3) redefining the role of business in the 21st century.

Mr. Hoffman is also on the board of Presidio Graduate School, the fully accredited MBA program with a core focus on business and sustainability.  Previous to New Voice of Business, he co-founded and was the CEO of Just Desserts, a highly branded and successful business headquartered in San Francisco. He led the company for 27 years and built it to over 300 employees.

Mr. Hoffman has devoted nearly 30 years as a highly visible and trusted leader in the San Francisco Bay Area business community, and has served on many community boards and commissions.  He has been a pioneer in small business advocacy and organizing, and has founded several non-profits.  He has received numerous business and community awards and recognition.  Mr. Hoffman has also been among the pioneers in the socially responsible business movement since the 1980s.  He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Gail Horvath, and they have two children, Miles and Joanna.
